Meeting Minutes

Minutes for the Town of Swepsonville: Town Council Meeting May 19th, 2015

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Raymond Herring.

All Council Members were present for the Town Meeting. The minutes for the meeting April 21st, 2015 were reviewed. Hugh Doss made a motion to accept the minutes as written. Darrell Newton seconded the motion. The minutes for the meeting April 21st, 2015 were unanimously approved.

Residents that live on the Quarry Hill Golf Course (Celeste Webster of2227 Hickory Run, Mark Rava of 1331 Quandry Lake Lane, Wilbur Suggs Jr. of 1464 George Bason Road, Jackie Headen of 2219 Crescent Drive and Barbara D'Anna of 1262 Quandry Lake Lane) came to address the Town Council about the Quarry Jill Golf Course needing to be mowed and maintained. Celeste Webster of 2227 Hickory Run contacted Capital Bank about the property. The bank told her that Tri-G Development Group still owns the golf course property. The reisdents wanted Capital Bank to mow and maintain the property. Tri-G should mow and maintain their property. Gail Miller made a motion for Paul Koonts, the Town's Attorney, to send a letter to the property owner and Capital Bank to mow and maintain the property. Hugh Doss seconded the motion. The vote passed unanimously.

Bobby Massey, the Town's CPA, and the Town Council discussed the 2015-2016 Budget Draft.

Hugh Doss made a motion to go into closed session. The Town Council came back into open session.

There was no public time comments. Doug Scott made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Gail Miller seconded the motion. The meeting was unanimously
